Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle hands on and holding technique that works with the deep core rhythms of the body to release and unwind blockages that are holding us back from optimum healing. It works with the subtle flow of the cerebral-spinal fluid as it moves up and down our spinal cord and the impact this has on our whole body. It allows the body to reach a deep and very relaxed holding space where we can access our own healing energy and rebalance and revitalise.

Such sweet healing release and support from you. Thank you Angel. I am so so loved and cared for.

Who can have Craniosacral Therapy?

As the treatments are so gentle, everyone can benefit from Craniosacral therapy.  Cranio can be used on small children and babies

The treatment can be used to combat the feeling of stress, anxiety, insomnia as well as relief from physical pain and injury.

This is a very powerful tool to access deep emotional pain and trauma. Just remember that the journey only goes where you will allow. The therapist can facilitate and support your healing process but cannot lead or direct. Nothing can happen that you do not allow or feel comfortable with.

Contra-indications to Craniosacral therapy:

Anyone where any cranial pressure or change in rhythms could cause increased pain, instability or complication. EG: New stroke patient, anyone with acute bleeding conditions.

What you can expect:

You will be required to go through a personal medical history. The session usually lasts about an hour.

The client remains fully clothed during the process and may experience a sense of deep relaxation. It is a very quiet and still process. There may be some sessions where you fall sleep, or others where you will have a chance to get in touch with deep emotions as they arise.

There may be an immediate feeling of release and increase in mobility and function after the session, or it may take a few sessions to achieve this result.

Each session may vary in how you feel as you are in ‘control’ of the pace of release. At times you may need to sleep and relax after your treatment, other times you may feel revitalised and full of energy.

After the sessions please ensure that you drink plenty of water. It is not recommended to have a session before strenuous physical exercise.

Just being aware and going with the process is part of the healing process.

Thanks for your time and journey processes.I look forward to shifting, letting go and all good things happening.
